Gili AIR
Gili Air is closest to the mainland and the most quickly accessed of the 3 Gilis. This island as the largest local population of the three and combines the charm of tropical island, with access to the people and the local culture that Lombok so special. That’s where we are located. There is excellent snorkeling in front of our dive center accessible from the shore.
The south of the island has some good surf, in the right conditions.
Gili MENO
Gili Meno is the smallest and the middle island , with the lowest population, it is not as developed as Gili AIr or Trawangan, but has its own special tranquil style. The pace is a much slower, with the laid-back charm of a true castaway tropical island experience. Small hotel and basic beach-side huts provide accommodation for those seeking a peaceful place in the sun, with unpopulated beaches, clean waters and quiet walks under the star-filled sky at night.
Gili TRAWANGAN
Gili Trawangan is the largest island and the furthest from the mainland, but easily reached in less than an hour by local boat. This is the most developed and crowded of the 3 islands with a reputation of party island that attracts the Part birds from all over the world.
Kontiki Resort

Located on the island of Gili Meno, Kontiki Cottage offers a private beach area which is popular for diving and snorkelling. Rooms are housed in teakwood bungalows with fresh water supply.
Rooms come with mosquito nets and either a fan or air conditioning. En suite bathrooms include shower facilities.
Kontiki Cottage is a 1.5-hour boat ride from Padang Bai Harbour in Bali. Sanur Beach on Bali is a 2-hour boat ride away.
Massage services are available upon request. The hotel’s tour desk can make arrangements for city or village tours.
Currency exchange and laundry services are available.
Kontiki Cafe and Restaurant offers a selection of local and international dishes including seafood and pizzas. Room service is also provided.

Breathe Villa Meno
A waking dream...
Spacious thatched villas in Meno's breezy coconut plantations and minutes from the beach. Interiors creatively and thoughtfully designed, boasting hot and fresh water, rain shower, ceiling fans and air-conditioning.
We invite you to appreciate the birdsong and relax in our serene and verdant garden or explore the island with the free bikes provided.
We have 2 villas located on our very large and private garden. Our desire was to create a relaxing and spacious environment for our guests in contrast to the crowded resorts. With too much over building and cutting down of the islands native trees we have built around the beautiful coconut palms and have focused very much on preserving and adding to the natural flora and subsequently fauna already present; an environment where people can breathe in the natural beauty of the island and enjoy the Meno that we love and hope to keep.
A standard breakfast is included in the price or guests can treat themselves to a more gourmand version by ordering a la carte. Tea and coffee facilities are in the villas and we do water refills on request. Guests also have the free use of bikes during their stay and so getting around is easy.
We have a house at the end of the property with a small private garden. During the day we are busy running a dive club on the island and our day staff are there to help you with anything you need. Late afternoon and early evening we are always around if guests need us for any reason, although we do ask guests to try not to disturb us after 9pm (unless obviously extremely urgent).
We would like our guests to feel at home and relaxed but obviously respect the property, garden and most importantly local culture. The Gili Islands are very tourist friendly and so no problem to be in bikini and board shorts on the beach or in our garden, however as we are in a Muslim region we urge guests to bear this in mind when exploring inland.
As we are located slightly inland (just a few minutes from the beach), guests can get to know better the real Meno and have a variety of very good and cheap local Warung very close. Two of our favourite places to eat just 2 minutes from our front door are Pojok No 5 Star (serving good value local and western options) and Warung Buati (very good and cheap local food). Only a few minutes away are some of the islands most exclusive beach resorts with very good food if guests want to splash out a bit and eat on the beach.
Guests have the use of free bikes to explore the island and thus have a quick access to all of the best bits of Meno. We can also arrange for a transfer to the Villas by cidomo (local horse and cart taxi) on guests arrival at the harbor.
